Dear 6th grade student:
Please master the basic multiplication facts if you do not have instant recall of them. They are the foundation
of all Math.
HERE IS WHAT IS COMING UP IN MATH!
Homework: Homework is given
once a month to be competed at home.
It is mandatory and is graded.
The homework packet can be found on the ConnectEd website and must be printed, completed and handed in on the last school
day of each month. (SEE LINK BELOW) Any work not completed in class is considered homework as well. It is the individual student’s responsibility
to make up any work missed due to illness.
Extra Credit: Moby
Max units are used as extra credit. (SEE LINK BELOW)
Math Portfolio: All math papers (homework, notes and tests) will be held in your binder.
Quizzes/Tests: Quizzes/tests may be given at any time in the course of a week. They may or may not be announced. Mrs. Previte allows a retake of any test failed, the day after it is handed back to the student. The second
grade is averaged with the first.
Supplies Needed Daily: Students should come prepared for each class with a Math binder, many pencils, agenda and calculator.
Behavior: Students will always show respect for the teacher, other students, and themselves in the
course of this class and throughout the day. Any behavioral infractions will result in discipline forms, or detention/suspension.
Extra Math Help: Mrs. Previte is available some mornings
before school at 8:00am.
Grades: All
grades are posted on the Skyward. Parents and students may view their grades by signing up to use the portal and obtaining
a password.
